Connections

When volunteers sync their phone contacts, the system finds voters they know. The Connections page lets you:

  • See which voters have been matched
  • View which volunteers know each voter
  • Assign specific volunteers to reach out
  • Track connection outreach progress

The top of the page shows:

  • Total Matched - Unique voters with at least one connection
  • Assigned - Connections with an assigned volunteer
  • Unassigned - Connections not yet assigned
  • Volunteers Sharing - How many volunteers have synced contacts

The connections list shows voters who have matches. For each voter you can see:

  • Voter name and address
  • Number of volunteers who know them
  • Current assignment status
  • Confidence level of matches

Click a voter to see details including:

  • List of volunteers who matched
  • Each volunteer’s confidence level
  • The “name hint” from their phone contacts

When multiple volunteers know the same voter, you should assign one person to make contact. This prevents the voter from being contacted by multiple people.

  1. Click on a voter with multiple matches
  2. Review the volunteer options and their confidence levels
  3. Click Assign next to the best match

Click on a volunteer’s name to see their connection details:

  • Total connections matched
  • Assigned connections
  • Contacted (with recorded result)
  • List of all their connections

Focus on assigning connections for voters with high vote counts (large property owners) first.

If a voter is marked “Do Not Contact”, don’t assign their connection even if someone knows them.

Check back periodically to see if assigned volunteers have made contact. Reassign if needed.
