Events Management

Click Events in the sidebar to view all campaign events. You can filter by:

  • Upcoming - Future events
  • Past - Completed events
  • All - Everything
  1. Click the Create Event button
  2. Fill in the event details (see below)
  3. Set the visibility level
  4. Click Create to publish
FieldDescription
TitleName of the event (e.g., “Saturday Door Knock”)
TypeCategory: Canvassing, Phone Bank, Rally, Meeting, Other
Date & TimeStart and end times (Arizona timezone)
LocationAddress where the event will be held
DescriptionDetails, what to bring, parking info, etc.
VisibilityWho can see this event (see below)

Control where your event appears with visibility settings:

Event appears everywhere:

  • Public website at energyfreedom.team
  • Clean Energy Friends (CEF) app
  • SRP Canvass app

Use for: Public rallies, community events, volunteer recruitment drives.

Event appears on public platforms but NOT in the SRP Canvass app:

  • Public website at energyfreedom.team
  • Clean Energy Friends (CEF) app

Use for: Public events that don’t require full canvasser access.

Event ONLY appears in the SRP Canvass app:

  • SRP Canvass app for approved canvassers

Use for: Team meetings, training sessions, internal strategy sessions, events that shouldn’t be public.

View who has signed up for each event:

  1. Click on an event to open details
  2. Scroll to the Attendees section
  3. View the list of registered attendees
  4. Export the list if needed

For each signup, you’ll see:

  • Name - User’s name or “Guest” for non-logged-in signups
  • Email - Contact email address
  • Signed Up - When they registered
  • Status - Confirmed, Canceled, or Attended
  1. Click on the event you want to edit
  2. Click the Edit button
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save

To cancel an event:

  1. Open the event
  2. Click Cancel Event
  3. Confirm the cancellation

Canceled events remain in the system for record-keeping but won’t appear in upcoming events lists.

Event types are loaded from the database and can include:

  • Canvassing - Door-to-door voter outreach
  • Phone Bank - Group calling sessions
  • Rally - Public gatherings
  • Meeting - Team meetings, training
  • Other - Miscellaneous activities
  • Create events at least 1 week in advance
  • Include clear descriptions with what to bring
  • Add parking and accessibility information
  • Set appropriate visibility based on audience
  • Check signup numbers a few days before
  • Send reminders to attendees
  • Have a backup plan for low turnout
  • Mark attendance after the event for future planning
