Mobile App Setup

Get started with the SRP Canvass mobile app on iOS or Android.

Download the App

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

1. Open this link on your iPhone: TestFlight Invite
2. If prompted, install the TestFlight app from the App Store
3. Accept the invitation and install SRP Canvass

Tip

TestFlight is Apple’s official beta testing platform. The app is fully functional but distributed as a beta while in development.

Android

1. Download the APK from energyfreedom.team/app
2. Open the downloaded file
3. If prompted, enable “Install from unknown sources” for your browser
4. Complete the installation

Caution

Android may warn about installing apps from unknown sources. This is normal for apps not distributed through the Play Store.

Create Your Account

1. Open the app and tap “Sign Up”
2. Choose a sign-in method:
   • Email & password
   • Sign in with Google
   • Sign in with Apple (iOS only)
3. Enter your name so team leads can identify you
4. Wait for approval - your account starts as “pending”

Account Approval

For security, all new accounts require admin approval. This typically happens within 24 hours. You’ll receive a push notification when your account is approved.

Push Notifications

The app sends push notifications for important events:

Notification	When You Receive It
Account Approved	When an admin approves your account
New Assignment	When you’re assigned to a cut list
Campaign Updates	Important announcements from campaign admins

Tip

Make sure to allow notifications when prompted. You can change this later in your device settings.

Understanding Your Role

Role	Permissions
Canvasser	View assigned voters, record contact results, sync contacts
Team Lead	Everything canvassers can do, plus view all voters and team progress
Admin	Full access including user management and cut list creation

First Login

When you first log in after approval, you’ll see:

• Voters tab - Your assigned voter list
• Map tab - Geographic view of voters
• Settings tab - Account and app settings

Tip

Pull down on the voter list to refresh and load the latest data.

Getting Help

The app includes a built-in Help screen with:

• Quick Start Guide - Overview of main features
• FAQ - Answers to common questions
• App Version - Current version and build number
• Contact Support - How to reach the campaign team

Access Help from the Settings tab or by tapping the ? icon in the navigation bar.
