Account & Access

Section titled “How long does account approval take?”Usually within 24 hours. If you haven’t heard back after 48 hours, contact the campaign directly.
I can’t see any voters after logging in
Section titled “I can’t see any voters after logging in”Your account may still be pending approval, or you haven’t been assigned to any cut lists yet. Check with your team lead or admin.
How do I reset my password?
Section titled “How do I reset my password?”On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password” and enter your email. You’ll receive a reset link.
Contact Sync
Section titled “Contact Sync”Is my contact list stored on your servers?
Section titled “Is my contact list stored on your servers?”No. We only store cryptographic hashes of phone numbers - not the actual numbers or contact names. The hashing is one-way, meaning the original numbers cannot be recovered.
Why don’t I see any connections after syncing?
Section titled “Why don’t I see any connections after syncing?”Connections only appear if a phone number in your contacts matches a phone number in the voter file. Many voters don’t have phone numbers on file, or the numbers may have changed.
What if I don’t want to share my contacts?
Section titled “What if I don’t want to share my contacts?”Contact sync is completely optional. You can use all other app features without enabling it. If you change your mind later, you can revoke consent and all stored hashes are deleted.
Canvassing
Section titled “Canvassing”What if I accidentally record the wrong result?
Section titled “What if I accidentally record the wrong result?”Open the voter again and select the correct result. The new result will overwrite the old one. Contact history preserves all changes.
Can I edit my notes after saving?
Section titled “Can I edit my notes after saving?”Yes. Open the voter and tap the notes field to edit. Previous notes are preserved in contact history.
What do the different result options mean?

Offline Mode
Section titled “Offline Mode”What happens if I lose connection while recording a result?
Section titled “What happens if I lose connection while recording a result?”The result is saved locally and will sync automatically when you’re back online. Look for the “pending” indicator to see queued changes.
How much data does the app cache?
Section titled “How much data does the app cache?”The app caches your assigned voter list (or all voters for team leads/admins). This typically uses 10-50MB depending on list size.
My changes aren’t syncing
Section titled “My changes aren’t syncing”Try: 1) Check your internet connection, 2) Pull down to force refresh, 3) Close and reopen the app, 4) Go to Settings → Clear Cache and reload.
Technical Issues
Section titled “Technical Issues”The app is slow or crashing
Section titled “The app is slow or crashing”Try: 1) Close other apps to free memory, 2) Restart your phone, 3) Clear the app cache in Settings, 4) Reinstall the app if issues persist.
I can’t install the Android APK
Section titled “I can’t install the Android APK”You need to enable “Install from unknown sources” for your browser. Go to Settings → Apps → [Your Browser] → Install unknown apps → Allow.
Maps aren’t loading
Section titled “Maps aren’t loading”Maps require an internet connection. If you’re online but maps still don’t load, try closing and reopening the app.
Privacy & Data
Section titled “Privacy & Data”Who can see my canvass results?
Section titled “Who can see my canvass results?”Your results are visible to team leads and admins in your campaign. Other canvassers can see results when they view the same voter.
Is voter data secure?
Section titled “Is voter data secure?”Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secure database with role-based access controls. Only authorized campaign members can access voter information.
How do I delete my account?
Section titled “How do I delete my account?”Contact a campaign admin to deactivate your account. Your contact history will be preserved for campaign records, but you won’t be able to log in.
